What could possibly be wrong with it? I tried to open the bottom of the vacuum. But no problem with belt nor wire. Since the problem is the very loud sound, maybe the motor issue? I'm not sure. It still works fine.

I'm planning to buy a 110 volt 1.75 hp vacuum cleaner. But our connections at home are all 220 volts. I do have a 500-watt 110-to-220volt auto voltage regulator (AVR). I wonder if my AVR can accommodate such a 1.75 hp vac. Or do I’ve to purchase another AVR with a higher wattage?
